Introduction
My name is April Shinpaugh, and I am in the Education Specialist Degree Program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I began the program Summer 2013 and will graduate Summer 2014. I graduated from Western Governors University in 2010 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Immediately following, I began teaching elementary school. I have had experiences as a Math Interventionist, 2nd grade teacher, and 3rd grade math and science teacher. Currently, I am teaching 3rd grade math and science at West Fannin Elementary School in Fannin County. I obtained a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning. I was also West Fannin Elementary's 2015 Teacher of the Year. My ultimate goal is to enhance my classroom teaching and learning environment through technology.
